Julie DownsFriday, October 01, 2010 8:00 PM&fs Julie Downs was born in Venice, Fla., on Oct. 22, 1982. Raised in Port Charlotte, Fla., she began forming her musical foundation at church. In addition to accompanying the church choir on piano, she also sang solos during services. The summer before she entered high school, she toured as a singer with the Young Continentals vocal group. Interested in politics and law, she graduated early from high school and enrolled in Wilkes Honors College. At age 19, she completed her studies graduating with a B.A. she planned never to use and a newfound determination to make it as a singer-songwriter. She moved to Nashville in 2002 and got a job at a production company where her boss allowed her to practice on her guitar when there were no clients. During the next two years, she wrote more than 100 songs and came to the realization that her personal style was anything but country. However, having lived in Nashville, she had gained additional work in roles such as a music video extra, a face in a beer commercial and a seat-filler at award shows. She had also been invited to audition to become a background vocalist for Brooks & Dunn -- a gig she has held since 2004. In 2008, she began work on Diary of a Backup Singer, a series for CMT Mobile and CMT.com. She will also be releasing her debut artist album, as well as her first music video. Price: $15.00

- All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be given on ticket purchases unless the show is cancelled.

- Tickets are available for purchase by credit card 60 days prior to an event by phone and 30 days prior to an event online.
If you wish to order tickets for an event earlier than 60 days prior, you may do so at any time by paying with cash or check.

- One Longfellow Square does not issue paper tickets for most events. The name on your order will automatically be entered on the Will Call List for that event. Check in at the door. If others in your party are arriving separately, please have them check in under the name on the ticket order.
- All seats are General Admission.
- Doors will generally open 1 hour before showtime. This may change based on the event.
- A full bar will be available at all events unless otherwise noted.
Positive Proof of Age must be shown for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. - All events are All Ages unless otherwise noted.
- In the event of a cancellation, customers will be given the choice of transferring the tickets to a rescheduled date or a full refund. If you have purchased tickets to a show that has been cancelled, please call (207)761-1757 or e-mail info@onelongfellowsquare.com.
