Singer/pianist Vienna Teng has crafted a sound that the Associated Press calls “ambitious yet always tuneful…gorgeous and haunting.” Vienna has appeared on Letterman, NPR and the CBS Early Show, and toured with artists such as Shawn Colvin, India.Arie, Duncan Sheik and the Indigo Girls.
Vienna will play solo and acoustic for this show. In live performance, using an array of instruments along with looping pedals and effects—but no pre-recorded tracks of any kind—she veers from intimate to epic and back again, showcasing her love for an ever-widening range of genres: folk, pop, classical, jazz, country, even atonal modern music.
Always on the road, New Zealand folk duo The Bollands have been singing their infectious foot stomping folk songs since 2011. With their love of travel, music, good friends & fine wine, They have gained a reputation for their passion filled live shows and heartfelt folk tunes. Their energetic, foot-stomping music stems from their upbringing in the folk and roots music scenes in small towns and folk clubs throughout New Zealand.
Joyce, a classically trained pianist, met Christian, a hairy folk singer, at a campfire jam on a remote beach in their home country, New Zealand. They clicked instantly. Since that fate filled night, they have been playing their passion filled songs on the road throughout The world. The Bollands have had the privilege of sharing the stage with international artists such as Chris Garneau (USA), Rodney Fisher (Goodshirt, New Zealand), Little Fish (U.K.), The Bads (New Zealand), Sun Eskimos (Hong Kong) and in April 2015 they will be heading to the USA for the first time to tour with the incredible Vienna Teng.
