Abbie Gardner is a fiery dobro player with an infectious smile. Whether performing solo or with Americana darlings Red Molly, her tales of love and loss, both gritty and sweet, are propelled by her impeccable slide guitar chops. Her solo live show is truly unique – as an award-winning songwriter, captivating vocalist, & world-class dobro player. She’s celebrating the release of her latest record “DobroSinger” – featuring 11 songs recorded at home with dobro & vocals and nothing else. It’s an intimate listen, sure to pull you in.
She has opened for Lori McKenna, Hot Rize, and Martina McBride. But the best is yet to come…”Not only a first-rate Dobro player but a songwriter to be reckoned with.” – John Platt, WFUV
Singer-songwriter, performer and keen observer, Marc Douglas Berardo‘s songs are sharply drawn and cast a net on unusual and beguiling characters and places. They have been recognized at many prestigious national festivals and events such as The South Florida Folk Festival, The Wildflower Art and Music Festival and the legendary Kerrville New Folk Contest. He has opened for The Doobie Brothers, Little Feat, John Haitt and Martin Sexton. Berardo’s interview and live performance featured on the Sirius/ XM Satellite Radio show The Village was voted one of the best of the year by listeners. No Depression Magazine called his last CD Whalebone: “sincere, fluid, charming and above all gripping.”

IMPORTANT COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATES
OLS is committed to providing a safe environment for all who work, listen, or perform live music in our venue. Because our venue is so small, effective on August 3, 2022, we will require all staff, volunteers, and patrons to wear masks indoors unless they are actively drinking, eating, or performing. Certain shows, at the request of those artists, will also require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to OLS.
We will require mask usage as our default policy unless stated otherwise; please refer to the language on each concert’s event page to check the policy for the show you are attending.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL SHOWS OCCURRING BEFORE AUGUST 3, 2022 WILL STILL REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION + MASKS FOR ENTRY.
If the show you are attending requires proof of vaccination:
Proof of vaccine must come directly from the health care provider that performed the vaccination and can be a photo or physical copy of the vaccination card or record. Full vaccination means that the date of the performance you are attending is:
- at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
- at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO authorized single dose COVID vaccine.
We hope we can ease these restrictions once further progress has been made in reducing the transmission of the virus. Until then, we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation.
