Live music featuring Tom DiMenna:

Tom DiMenna is a singer/songwriter based in Maine (and one time bar manager at OLS). He released his debut album “You Know Me, My Devil Says” last year with OLS sound engineer Chris Cambra. He wrote most of the songs while working at OLS. He regularly plays at opera houses and local breweries up and down the Maine coast, splitting time doing his own songs and his touring Cat Stevens tribute act.

A little more about Tom: “I’ve been playing since college. where I was a lowly, hand-signaler on the football team. Then I played a year of semi-pro football for the Bologna Warriors in Italy. The experience of quarterbacking an Italian Football team was pretty funny. I spent the next decade working on a movie about it.

While developing the script, I took classes at Second City and various other improv schools in Chicago, L.A., and New York. One of the sketches, where I played the ghost of Telly Savalas doing a lounge act, became an off-broadway show directed by Taylor Negron. The show ran for a few years before I relocated with my partner, Lauren, to focus on music in Portland.”“I can’t say enough good things about Tom DiMenna!” – Aimsel Ponti (Portland Press Herald)

OLS is committed to providing a safe environment for all who work, listen, or perform live music in our venue. Because our venue is so small, effective on August 3, 2022, we will require all staff, volunteers, and patrons to wear masks indoors unless they are actively drinking, eating, or performing. Certain shows, at the request of those artists, will also require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to OLS.

We will require mask usage as our default policy unless stated otherwise; please refer to the language on each concert’s event page to check the policy for the show you are attending.

If the show you are attending requires proof of vaccination:

Proof of vaccine must come directly from the health care provider that performed the vaccination and can be a photo or physical copy of the vaccination card or record. Full vaccination means that the date of the performance you are attending is:

  • at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
  • at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO authorized single dose COVID vaccine.

We hope we can ease these restrictions once further progress has been made in reducing the transmission of the virus. Until then, we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation.
