Peter Gallway & The Real Band – Good Trouble

Called “a master of free verse” in the Boston Globe, Peter Gallway has released nearly thirty albums on the Warner/Reprise and various independent labels and produced over fifty albums and special projects including work with legendary artist Laura Nyro. He also collaborates with acclaimed singer-songwriter Annie Gallup as the duo Hat Check Girl and with British keyboardist Harvey Jones (Chris Botti, Robert Fripp, Sting) as Parker Gray.

With The Real Band, Andrea Re—percussion (Jackson Browne, Garland Jeffries), Mark Wainer—lead guitar (The Buffalos, Berklee College of Music), Joseph Wainer—drums (Roswell Rudd, Max Roach), and Michael McInnis—keyboards (Devonsquare, Noel Stookey), Gallway’s music spans styles from ‘60’s rock and roll, to “jazzy folk”, to atmospheric Americana and has been compared to work by Tom Petty, Elvis Costello and Leonard Cohen.

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kyle Morgan grew up in central Pennsylvania, where he began writing his first album while bussing tables at the local Olive Garden. The name of that record, Starcrossed Losers, became the alias under which he would go on to release two more, Bind Us Anew and Strange Hesitations, each featuring his distinctive conglomeration of Americana styles, from stripped-down acoustic ballads and love-lorn parlor laments to roaring alt-country and throwback 60’s rock’n’roll. His latest release, Younger at Most Everything, came out in February on Team Love Records.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATES

OLS is committed to providing a safe environment for all who work, listen, or perform live music in our venue. Because our venue is so small, effective on August 3, 2022, we will require all staff, volunteers, and patrons to wear masks indoors unless they are actively drinking, eating, or performing. Certain shows, at the request of those artists, will also require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to OLS.

We will require mask usage as our default policy unless stated otherwise; please refer to the language on each concert’s event page to check the policy for the show you are attending.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL SHOWS OCCURRING BEFORE AUGUST 3, 2022 WILL STILL REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION + MASKS FOR ENTRY.

If the show you are attending requires proof of vaccination:

Proof of vaccine must come directly from the health care provider that performed the vaccination and can be a photo or physical copy of the vaccination card or record. Full vaccination means that the date of the performance you are attending is:

  • at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
  • at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO authorized single dose COVID vaccine.

We hope we can ease these restrictions once further progress has been made in reducing the transmission of the virus. Until then, we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation.
