SUMMARY:House of Hamill
DESCRIPTION:Doors open an hour before showtime.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nADVANCE PURCHASE: $25 (+ $5.50 service fee)\n\n\n\nAT THE DOOR: $35\n\n\n\nAll surcharges and member discounts will be calculated at checkout.\n\n\n\nClick Here to learn how our ticket surcharge supports OLS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHouse of Hamill owes its existence – almost entirely – to a series of cancelled flights. \n\n\n\nRose Baldino and Brian Buchanan first found themselves onstage together at the 2014 Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City. \n\n\n\nRose’s band Burning Bridget Cleary was scheduled to perform\, but inclement weather prevented two of her bandmates from flying. Desperate to salvage the showcase\, Rose approached Brian\, who she knew fronted Canadian celtic rock band Enter the Haggis. She thrust a guitar into Brian’s hands\, pulled him onstage\, and the two just clicked. \n\n\n\nFour years and hundreds of shows later\, the duo was booked to play a closing slot at a Colorado festival\, so they hired a bass player and drummer to fill out their sound. By the oddest of coincidences\, their hired bandmates’ flights were canceled the day of the show. A frantic Facebook post introduced Brian and Rose to local musician Caroline Browning\, who joined them on bass for the weekend. Once again\, the chemistry was undeniable\, and House of Hamill became a trio. \n\n\n\nToday\, Pennsylvania-based House of Hamill is a fixture on festival stages across the US\, and have shared their music and stories on the country’s premier folk stages. Their original song “Banks of the Brandywine” was a Grand Prize winner in the 2024 John Lennon Songwriting Contest\, and the video for their all-violin cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” amassed over 16 million views on Facebook\, where it was shared over 400\,000 times. \n\n\n\nThe band’s newest release\, “Wildfire\,” marks House of Hamill‘s most compelling work to date. Featuring their strongest and most exciting songwriting\, “Wildfire” is filled with lyrical depth\, sophisticated vocal and instrumental arrangements\, and hooks that are simply irresistible. This album captures the vibrant energy and creativity that have become the hallmarks of a House of Hamill live show. \n\n\n\nWhether they’re ripping through a set of original jigs and reels\, adding lush three-part harmonies into traditional folk ballads\, or cracking up an audience with stories from the road\, House of Hamill puts on a show that captivates audiences from the very first note. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

SUMMARY:Liz Longley with special guest Eleanor Buckland
DESCRIPTION:Doors open an hour before showtime.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nADVANCE PURCHASE: Total ticket price at checkout is $24.50 (inclusive of $4.50 service fee)\n\n\n\nAT THE DOOR: $30\n\n\n\nAll surcharges and member discounts will be calculated at checkout.\n\n\n\nClick Here to learn how our ticket surcharge supports OLS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLiz Longley is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter celebrated for her stop-you-in-your-tracks voice and deeply emotional music. Known for her distinctive blend of folk\, pop\, and Americana\, Liz has earned accolades from prestigious songwriting competitions\, including the BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition. \n\n\n\nHer self-titled debut album was praised as “stunning” (HuffPost) and marked by “cleverness and wit” (Dallas Morning News). The follow-up\, Weightless (2016)\, was lauded as “a thing of beauty” by Pop Dose. Liz’s sixth album\, Funeral For My Past\, became a notable success after her fans raised over $150\,000 on Kickstarter to fund its independent release\, making her the #4 most funded solo female musician in Kickstarter history. The album received widespread acclaim\, with Forbes calling it “stunning” and Billboard highlighting its diverse range from Americana to shimmering pop anthems. \n\n\n\nBecoming a mother in 2022 profoundly impacted Liz’s songwriting\, infusing her music with greater depth and perspective. Her most recent album\, New Life (2025)\, reflects this new chapter in her life\, showcasing both her personal growth and her continued evolution as an artist. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEleanor Buckland: \n\n\n\nEleanor Buckland made her start as one-third of Lula Wiles\, the Boston-based folk-rock trio that became an acoustic music scene favorite with their three critically hailed albums\, the most recent two released on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. Now living in Durham\, NC\, the singer songwriter has turned to a new page as a solo artist. Buckland’s debut album You Don’t Have To Know (released October 2021 on Soundly Music) sets her deeply personal songs against inventive indie rock arrangements. \n\n\n\nBorn and raised in Maine\, Buckland comes from a family full of musicians. Her grandmother\, Betty Buckland\, was prominent in the New England bluegrass scene\, while her father\, Andy Buckland\, played electric guitar in Boston area bands. It’s not surprising then that someone who grew up playing bluegrass fiddle music as well as singing along to Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow in the car would wind up with varied musical tastes – something Buckland clearly demonstrates on her solo debut and in her live shows. \n\n\n\n“Buckland’s folksy drawl plays perfectly with this fresh set of pop tunes that are seemingly built for fans of contemporary FM radio acts like Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift\, both nostalgically rustic and immediately modern.” – WBUR \n\n\n\nD \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

These shows are an opportunity to experience incredible emerging talent up close\, with our longtime members enjoying preferred seating at our intimate café-style tables. It’s a great way to support independent artists while strengthening the musical community at One Longfellow Square! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHarrison Goodell is a singer-songwriter from the Seacoast of New Hampshire\, weaving indie-folk songs that feel like home – restless\, familiar\, and always shifting. Rooted in vivid storytelling\, his music draws from the quiet hum of suburban streets\, the vastness of the White Mountains\, and the ache of trying to hold onto something fleeting. With raw vocals and emotive arrangements\, he captures the tension between nostalgia and growth\, staying and leaving\, love and loss. His sound\, while distinctly his own\, lives somewhere between anthemic folk and confessional songwriting\, earning comparisons to artists like Noah Kahan and The Lumineers. \n\n\n\nHarrison’s dedication to his craft has led to sold-out shows and opening slots for artists including Sara Bareilles\, JP Saxe\, and The Lone Bellow. Named one of the Northeast’s top emerging artists\, he was awarded a grant from The Portsmouth Music Hall to further support his artistic development. With new music on the way and consistent touring\, 2026 is shaping up to be a defining year. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFerester:\n\n\n\nFerester is the moniker of Scottish-American artist\, Spencer O’Grady. SUMMARY:Sam Burchfield
DESCRIPTION:Doors open an hour before showtime.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nADVANCE PURCHASE: $25\n\n\n\nAT THE DOOR: $35\n\n\n\nAll surcharges and member discounts will be calculated at checkout.\n\n\n\nClick Here to learn how our ticket surcharge supports OLS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSam Burchfield was raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina\, where he learned to play and learned to write. His youth was steeped in the mossy creeks and deep ravines of those ancient woods\, and they imbued him with the gift of song. Now in his thirties\, Burchfield raises a small family in the North Georgia mountains and continues to find inspiration in the rivers and ridges of Southern Appalachia. \n\n\n\nHis latest album ‘Me & My Religion’ was produced with his touring band\, The Scoundrels. It is the first collaboration for the group after years of paying dues to the highway. Colin Agnew (drums)\, Trygve Myers (bass)\, and Ryan Plumley (guitar) accompanied Burchfield to Muscle Shoals\, Alabama along with Nashville producer\, Rachael Moore\, to record the album of 7 days. \n\n\n\nThis 10 track album is almost equal parts Americana\, psychedelia\, indie folk\, and Southern rock. All these flavors combine to support the album’s main theme. As seasoned listeners will expect\, Burchfield’s lyrics are far from on the nose\, as the declarative title would suggest. ‘Me & My Religion’ is an exploration of mankind’s toil for meaning in a world of vapid consumerism and commercialism – one in which we have become deaf to our own harmony with nature. Despite the weight of these ideas\, the album feels like a lighthearted sojourn through the backwoods of our imagination. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

SUMMARY:Jackie Greene
DESCRIPTION:Doors open an hour before showtime.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nADVANCE PURCHASE: Total ticket price at checkout is $30\n\n\n\nAT THE DOOR: $40\n\n\n\nAll surcharges and member discounts will be calculated at checkout.\n\n\n\nClick Here to learn how our ticket surcharge supports OLS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAmericana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene is a jack-of-all-trades and an artist who can croon over soulful piano ballads as much as he can shred a bluesy guitar solo\, like he did as the lead guitarist for The Black Crowes in 2013. A road warrior and musician’s musician\, Greene’s new EP The Modern Lives – Vol 2 (out October 2018 on Blue Rose Music) finds him at a new chapter in his life: his first months of fatherhood\, time off his relentless touring circuit\, and a cross-country move from Brooklyn to his birthplace of Northern California. This new collection of six original songs is a thematic extension of The Modern Lives – Vol 1 EP (released in 2017 on Blue Rose Music)\, imbued with a Brooklyn basement DIY feel and ethos. He is a student of American music\, transfixed upon its progression through time\, as well as how regional sounds fit in a contemporary context. Whereas Vol 1 saw Greene experiment with the Delta blues as a canvas for his examinations of modern society\, Vol 2 sees Greene embrace the sounds of the bluegrass and folk tapes of his youth. \n\n\n\nLead single “Crazy Comes Easy” showcases Greene’s dynamic\, multi-instrumental range as he plays slide guitar\, organ\, bass\, and percussion\, the guitar licks an appreciative nod to his time in The Black Crowes. Meanwhile\, “Good Old Bad Times” highlights Greene as the songwriter as he rattles off lines like\, “How can somebody find a future? / If they ain’t got a foothold in the past?” while taking a critical eye to the idea of nostalgia. Piano ballad “Victim Of The Crime” was one of Jackie’s oldest demos until the feel of these sessions gave him the tools to finish a song that\, in his words\, was written for his wife before she was his wife. While the title possesses a kind of melodrama\, the song itself is tender and heartfelt as he details love’s trials and tribulations. \n\n\n\nGreene partnered with Academy Award-nominated “king of indie animation” Bill Plympton for a series of music videos for The Modern Lives – Vol 1 that would eventually become an animated short film titled The Modern Lives. The film is currently making the rounds at film festivals where it has already won the Jury Award at the USA Film Festival in Dallas\, TX\, and the Grand Remi Award / Best in Show at WorldFest in Houston\, TX. The short is also being exhibited at the 71st Festival de Cannes/Court Metrage\, Melbourne International Animation Festival\, and ASIFA-East Festival\, amongst others. \n\n\n\nSince the release of his critically-acclaimed debut album Gone Wanderin’\, Greene has built an enduring audience through a relentless touring schedule with the likes of BB King\, Mark Knopfler\, Susan Tedeschi\, and Taj Mahal. He played lead guitar with The Black Crowes on their Layin’ Down With #13 World Tour\, recorded and toured with Trigger Hippy—his supergroup with Joan Osborne—and in the last four years performed over 300 shows of his own\, all while continuing to record and release his solo work. Greene is a frequent member of Phil Lesh & Friends and sits in with countless other artists\, including Tedeschi Trucks Band\, Govt Mule\, Mississippi All-Stars\, Amy Helm\, Steve Earle\, and Bob Weir. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

His songs range from deeply moving to wildly imaginative and hilarious\, often within the same song. \n\n\n\nHe has been compared favorably to the great masters of songwriting\, such as Guthrie\, Dylan\, Costello. Though he draws from the great American tradition of songwriting\, there is something deeply unique and compelling that make you want to get to know the man behind the songs. \n\n\n\nHe conjures incredibly specific imagery like in a painting. Though he may turn to cynicism and political satire at times\, the beauty of his work is that he is able to imagine better worlds\, revealing a deep capacity for empathy and optimism. Bern connects with his audiences skillfully and directly\, weaving the topical and local in with the more universal themes. He has written for many films and TV shows\, and has made more than thirty albums. \n\n\n\n“If you ever read the name “Dan Bern” give yourself a treat and go see him. He’s been one of my favourite songwriters and musicians for the past 25 years. His songs are a mix of thought provoking lyrics and a wonderful dry wit. You’ll have a great night out! —Roger Daltrey \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

DESCRIPTION:Doors open an hour before showtime.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nADVANCE PURCHASE: $30\n\n\n\nAT THE DOOR: $40\n\n\n\nAll surcharges and member discounts will be calculated at checkout.\n\n\n\nClick Here to learn how our ticket surcharge supports OLS.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere are songwriters who chronicle life\, and then there’s David Wilcox—an artist who metabolizes it. He has long been a quiet force in American folk music; a musician’s musician\, a writer’s writer\, and a seeker whose gift lies in making the personal feel universal. \n\n\n\nWith the release of The Way I Tell the Story (2025)\, Wilcox proves\, yet again\, that resilience isn’t just a survival skill—it’s an art form. The record shimmers with musical sophistication but leaves just enough space for the listener to feel what Wilcox has always done best: tell the truth\, gently but without apology. The music he’s creating now comes from a place that can’t be faked. In recent years\, Wilcox’s life has been shaped by his wife’s Parkinson’s diagnosis—a shift that reordered his priorities and redefined his sense of time\, love\, and presence. But rather than retreat\, Wilcox leaned in. “Times get tough\, and music gets good\,” he says\, and means it. These songs don’t dramatize. They don’t resolve neatly. They sit in the complexity of living—open-eyed\, unafraid\, quietly brave. \n\n\n\nWilcox’s career began in earnest in the late 1980s\, when his self-released debut The Nightshift Watchman caught the attention of A&M Records. His major-label debut\, How Did You Find Me Here (1989)\, became an unexpected hit\, selling over 100\,000 copies largely by word of mouth and live shows alone—an unheard-of feat for a debut folk record. Critics took note of his deft guitar work and emotional clarity\, but it was the unassuming wisdom threaded through his lyrics that truly set him apart. Rolling Stone praised his “soulful insight\,” while The New York Times called his music “a kind of open- hearted therapy.” \n\n\n\nWhat followed was a string of acclaimed albums—Big Horizon (1994)\, Turning Point (1997)\, What You Whispered (2000) each one refining his reputation as a songwriter who knows how to say hard things in soft\, lasting ways. Over the years\, he’s shared stages and collaborations with artists like Shawn Colvin\, Patty Larkin\, Pierce Pettis\, and John Gorka—fellow craftspeople committed to song over spectacle. But Wilcox has never followed the current. He’s followed the work\, and in 2018 Wilcox won top honors In the 23rd annual USA Songwriting for his effervescent “We Make the Way by Walking” from his album\, The View From the Edge. \n\n\n\nThat work has earned him quiet but enduring respect. His songs have been covered by k.d. lang and Tony Rice; his guitar work studied by those who understand that precision\, when rooted in care\, becomes its own kind of virtuosity. His influence runs deep\, especially among younger artists trying to build something real in a world obsessed with surface. \n\n\n\nWilcox’s music still resonates\, especially now\, because it doesn’t try to outpace the moment. It meets it. In his world\, craft is a form of care. Introspection is a public offering. And staying soft in a hard world isn’t a liability—it’s a kind of leadership. \n\n\n\nFor audiences seeking something more than noise\, more than nostalgia\, Wilcox’s songs remain a rare kind of company. Not flashy. Not loud. Just deeply\, generously alive. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

In 2017\, the pair took home the International Folk Music Award for Artist of the Year on the strength of their breakout album\, Before I Go\, and two years later\, they returned with the similarly lauded Honest\, which the Associated Press hailed as “one of the best Americana albums of the year.” \n\n\n\nThe band’s new stripped-down\, self-titled collection is the purest distillation of their sound yet\, showcasing the arresting power of the couple’s gorgeous harmonies and intricate fretwork. The songs are timeless\, rooted in rich\, character-driven storytelling\, and the performances are similarly transportive\, fueled by delicately intertwined banjo\, guitar\, and octave mandolin. Though the songs were born out of a period of deep uncertainty\, the record itself is a work of profound self-assurance\, one delivered by a duo whose personal and professional lives embody the limitless possibility of honest\, organic collaboration. Press play on Ordinary Elephant and you’ll hear more than just a husband and wife; you’ll hear the sound of sincerity and commitment\, of patience and gratitude\, of learning to let go of expectation and revel in the simple beauty of the moment. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRemi Goode:\n\n\n\nRemi Goode is a classical guitarist turned alternative folk singer-songwriter\, based in Nashville. In a continual search for the truth\, her lyrics are filled with paradoxes and multiple perspectives\, as she attempts to embrace the grey areas of life. Receiving comparisons to Suzanne Vega and Kathleen Edwards\, Goode’s debut album\, Things I’ve Said Before\, released September 2025\, is an introduction to the indie-folk artist who straddles the borders between different worlds. A nylon-string guitarist nodding to the classical training and contemporary influences of her past while pushing toward a wider sound\, she creates her own version of modern-day American roots music: one that “has an intimacy to it that feels almost intrusive\,” according to Glide Magazine. Remi tours nationally in a duo with longtime collaborator and partner\, Gabe Lehrer\, featuring intricate interlocking guitar arrangements and close vocal harmonies. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram

Inspired by marriage\, landscapes\, and the cross-country tours that took the band across America\, these new songs were written on the road— as eclectic and evocative as the terrain that unfolded just outside the van’s windshield. \n\n\n\nOnce again\, Briscoe teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Brad Cook to bring the songs to life\, collaboratively creating a record that expands their folk-rock sound in all directions. There are bigger arrangements\, sharper vocal harmonies\, and enough top-tier guest musicians—including members of Houndmouth\, Hiss Golden Messenger\, Bon Iver\, Mipso\, and Watchhouse—to form their own supergroup. \n\n\n\nThe result is a cinematic\, widescreen version of American roots music\, created by two lifelong friends who’ve learned to distill the thrill of the open road—and the challenges of growing up—into an ever-evolving soundtrack. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNoah James\n\n\n\nAt just 18 years old\, Baton Rouge-based country singer-songwriter Noah James is emerging as one of the genre’s most compelling new voices. Known for blending raw emotion\, vivid storytelling\, and a sound deeply rooted in his Louisiana upbringing\, Noah has already connected with a rapidly growing audience\, amassing over 50 million TikTok views and over 300\,000 followers. His debut singles “Set Free\,” “Love Run Cold\,” and “Same Old Things” earned praise for their authenticity and heartfelt lyricism\, drawing comparisons to modern country storytellers like Zach Bryan and Wyatt Flores. With his signing to Santa Anna/Sony Music\, Noah is poised to take his music to an even wider audience\, solidifying his place as one of country music’s most sincere and promising young stars. \n\n\n\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram
