    David Vail Album Release Show w/ Dominic Lavoie


    David Vail, a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who is part of local non-profit Listen Up! Musician (a community support day program and studio supporting adults with intellectual uniqueness in making music), is releasing his first full-length album of original material, "Unvailed". In collaboration with musicians at Listen Up David has crafted a rich and dynamic album of memorable songs – from radio-ready pop-rock to atmospheric ballads referencing Greek Mythology and Longfellow poems, David dives deep into pop music history and his own psyche to create an eminently listenable record documenting his humor, passion, and personal growth.

    The Portland Jazz Orchestra: July


    Started in 2004, the Portland Jazz Orchestra is Maine's premier concert jazz ensemble. Under the direction of Dr. Chris Oberholtzer, this 18-piece jazz ensemble performs a variety of traditional and contemporary big band literature. The PJO enjoys playing works written by members such as Craig Skeffington, Willie Johnson, Chris Humphrey and Terry White in addition to literature composed by a variety of jazz artists including Tom Kubis, Matt Harris, Bob Mintzer, Bill Holman and Maria Schneider.     duquette CD Release Show


    Rob Duquette has made his career since the mid-1990s as a well respected and in-demand sideman, most notably as a member of Jonathan Edwards'  touring band. He has also regularly played with other notables like Jack Sonni (Dire Straits) and the legendary composer David Amram over the last 15 years.  He gained national attention as part of the jazz-folk-pop group "Cactus Highway" in the early 2000s, who the Boston Herald called "a duo of true sophistication," and the Village Voice called, "amazing".

    Tim Mercer


    Tim Mercer is a singer/songwriter out of Portland, ME. He spent 12 years in Brooklyn, NY fronting the rock band, Daphne. During his time in New York, Tim won the K-Rock Battle of the Bands, and was the runner up in the HBO Rock The Stones Contest, as well as the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. He was also a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Contest out of 16,000 entries.
