Calling All Maine Creatives!
One Longfellow Square is proud to announce our 2025 Merch Design Contest! We’re inviting artists of all ages and skill levels to submit their original designs that reflect the heart and soul of our beloved venue. This is your chance to leave a mark on Portland’s vibrant arts community and celebrate the incredible local talent that makes Maine special!
What We’re Looking For
We want your design to capture the spirit of OLS– our music, our community, and our connection to Portland. Your design should:
- Reflect the unique spirit of OLS.
- Include 2025 and One Longfellow Square or OLS somewhere in the artwork.
- Use one color and ideally be in vector format (.eps, .ai, PDF).

Why This Matters
At One Longfellow Square, we believe that art builds community, and this contest is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible creativity that makes Maine unique. Your art will represent OLS in 2025, becoming a visual thread that connects our audience, artists, and the vibrant culture we foster here in Portland.
Proceeds from every piece of merch sold featuring your design will directly support our mission to bring people together through music and art. Your work will help us continue hosting unforgettable performances, fostering local talent, and creating a space where creativity and community continue to thrive.
What’s in It for You
The winning artist will receive:
- A $500 cash prize, generously sponsored by Town & Country Federal Credit Union, a longtime supporter of local creativity and community-driven initiatives.
- 2 Tickets to a future OLS show

How to Enter

- Submit your design by emailing merch@onelongfellowsquare.com
- Vector files are preferred– .eps, .ai, or PDF, or high-resolution PNG and JPG files.
- Make sure your design is submitted by Sunday, March 2, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
