A longtime member of the beloved folk-pop group Devonsquare, singer, songwriter, and violinist Alana MacDonald has been a staple of the New England music scene for over three decades. With Devonsquare, she toured nationally and shared stages with icons like Peter Frampton, Melanie, Bonnie Raitt, Suzanne Vega, and Roy Orbison.
Today, Alana continues to captivate audiences with her sharp wit, soulful vocals, and genre-blurring blend of folk, rock, and what she affectionately calls “heavy mental.” Whether performing solo or with collaborators, she brings a spirited and dynamic presence to stages like Stone Mountain Arts Center, The Flying Monkey, Johnson Hall, and more.
