Suzzy Roche:
After a lifetime of performing with The Roches and as a solo artist, Suzzy Roche now frequently collaborates with her daughter, Lucy Wainwright Roche. Together, they’ve released several acclaimed albums, including Fairytale and Myth (Independent Music Awards winner, 2014), Mud & Apples (2016), and I Can Still Hear You (2020).
In addition to her recording work, Suzzy is a longtime member of The Wooster Group, where she has performed for over two decades and continues to compose for new productions. She was also the composer for Sarah Ruhl’s Becky Nurse of Salem at Lincoln Center in 2022.
A founding member of The Roches, Suzzy is also an author of three books and an educator, having taught performance at NYU and Princeton.

Lucy Wainwright Roche:
Lucy Wainwright Roche is known for her bell-tone voice, sharp songwriting, and quietly disarming humor. The daughter of Suzzy Roche and Loudon Wainwright III, she grew up immersed in music and has built a devoted following of her own.
Her solo releases—including Little Beast, There’s a Last Time for Everything, and Lucy—have earned critical praise, alongside collaborations with Martha Wainwright (Songs in the Dark) and Suzzy Roche (Fairytale and Myth, Mud & Apples, I Can Still Hear You).
A seasoned performer, she’s toured across the U.S. and Europe, opened for artists like Indigo Girls, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Neko Case, and is just as captivating solo as she is on a larger stage.
