GRAMMY® winner and reigning two-time IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Trey Hensley has been called a “musical phenom” by NPR, a “guitar-slinging superhero” by Bluegrass Today, and “Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine. Praised by legends including Merle Haggard and Marty Stuart, Hensley has collaborated with artists such as Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Taj Mahal, and Tommy Emmanuel, earning a reputation for his extraordinary guitar playing, soulful vocals, and masterful songwriting.
An invitee to Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, Hensley continues to push the boundaries of roots music. Following the launch of his signature Taylor Guitar, the Trey Hensley Gold Label 510e, he is set to release his new album Can’t Outrun The Blues on March 6, 2026, with the title track already spending multiple weeks at #1 on the bluegrass charts.
