Kelsey Waldon

November 15 @ 7:00 PM

Doors open an hour before showtime.

In the six years since signing to John Prine’s Oh Boy Records as the label’s first new artist in 15 years, Kelsey Waldon has earned wide praise for her deeply authentic songwriting and fiercely independent approach to country music. Raised in the rural community of Monkey’s Eyebrow, Kentucky, Waldon has built a career rooted in where she comes from while continuing to push herself forward, earning fans on headline tours and sharing stages with artists including Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Robert Earl Keen, Margo Price, and Lucinda Williams.

On her new album, Every Ghost, Waldon turns inward, confronting addiction, grief, generational trauma, family, and the complicated relationship we have with our past selves. Recorded at Southern Grooves in Memphis with her band, The Muleskinners, the nine-song collection is filled with what Waldon calls “hard-earned healing,” balancing compassion for the people we once were with the courage it takes to break old cycles and move forward.

That spirit runs throughout Every Ghost, from the deeply personal “Comanche” and the family reflections of “My Kin” to “Tiger Lilies,” a tribute to Waldon’s late grandmother and the traditions that keep loved ones close. The album closes with a cover of Hazel Dickens’ “Ramblin’ Woman,” reinforcing the independence and fearlessness that have long defined Waldon’s work. It’s a record about making peace with your ghosts without forgetting where you came from, and emerging on the other side stronger for having faced them.
