Sigrid graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2021 with a degree in Music Education and a secondary focus in Composition. During her time at college she met and collaborated with local musicians, including several who contributed to her debut album, Old Faithful Dreams, released in May 2025. The first single of her album, Never Knew Love, was selected as a finalist for the 2025 Maine Songwriters Association contest.

Sigrid is currently a member of One Longfellow Square’s 2026 inaugural class of the Longfellow Emerging Artist Fellowship (LEAF).
