Self described as folk noir, Methuin Muir is a spacious and whispery folk act. Using unique, simple instrumentation, Methuin Muir creates ambient and atmospheric folk that fits wintery evenings indoors as well as woodland clearings in the summer.
Aleric Nez is a talented musician with a deft hand at a number of instruments, but when he plays solo he prefers to strip things down. With just his resonator guitar and impassioned voice, Nez is able to command attention by creating a story of sound with each song.
The Orchards are the songwriting project of Pennsylvania-native Eric Schwan and a revolving cast of musicians from the Portland slowcore and folk scene. The current live incarnation features members of Hersey State, Plains, and Swaath and explores drone-like atmospheres and tempos matched with 60s and 70s-style singer/songwriter compositions about faith, natural and emotional landscapes, and the search for home.
