Join OLS for an evening of laughs with local comics, hosted by #jikkimartwell and featuring Nick Lavallee, Kate Ghiloni and more.
Nick Lavallee is a comedian from the State of New Hampshire. Despite what some believe, it's not a province of Canada.
Lavallee has appeared alongside Sally Struthers in "I Love You, Sally Struthers", meaning your mom will also like him, if she's okay with his naughty language. Voted "Best Comedian" in 2010, 2011 and 2014 by readers of New Hampshire's Hippo Press, his earlier albums debuted in the top 50 of iTunes Comedy charts.
Nick's online content has been featured on the front pages of Funny or Die, Rooftop Comedy and the Boston Comedy Examiner. Lavallee has performed opening spots for such national headliners as Comedy Central's Bo Burnham and Maine's King of Comedy, Bob Marley.
Kate's comedy is bright and thoughtful. Her honesty with herself and others shines a light into the darkness around us and within us in a pointed, yet joyful way.
Kate has been featured in festivals across the country, including the Limestone Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Asheville Off, the Seattle International Comedy Competition, Laughing Skull, Boston Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, Out of Bounds in Austin, and more.
As a writer, Kate's work includes The Washington Post, People Magazine, and KickinKitchen.TV, a comedy-cooking webseries.
Kate has trained at The Second City (Chicago) and Improv Asylum (Boston).
