The 16th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival

December 11 @ 7:00 PM

Doors open an hour before showtime.

Adventure is for everyone – you don’t have to be a cyclist to enjoy these journeys featuring people young and old, in the USA and abroad!  We’ll be sharing an evening of short films and good company that will delight and inspire any attendee.

2025 Featured Films

Alone Across Gola (21:36)

Jude Kriwald documents his solo crossing of Liberia’s Gola rainforest—an untracked wilderness where he faced intense heat, hunger, and isolation after his guide ran off with his bike and money. Filmed entirely alone, it’s a physically and emotionally demanding journey.

Chasing Rainbows (8:22)

Jenny Graham and Markus Stitz set out on an e-bikepacking adventure along Scotland’s Moray Coast, riding the Tern Orox and capturing the landscapes and rhythm of coastal travel.

Above and Beyond: A Family’s Cycling Quest Across Central Asia (12 min)

A captivating portrait of a family biking 1,300 km across Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Their journey highlights vast landscapes, the courage of a young adventurer, and the tight bond of a family exploring the unknown together.

Bikepacking Switzerland: Most Beautiful Cycling Route Ever? (9:55)

Sheelagh Daly explores the magic of bikepacking through the Swiss Alps, traveling one of the world’s premier bike-path networks using the Swiss Mobility app to guide the route.

The Bolt Between the Borders (15:51)

Sicily Divide: This Broke Me (39 min)

Amateur triathlete and bikepacking enthusiast Nono attempts Sicily’s 285-mile Divide route—typically a seven-day ride—in just four days. With over 28,000 feet of climbing, this journey tests both physical and emotional limits. Does he make it?

This show is a benefit for One Longfellow Square.  A portion of festival proceeds also goes to the nonprofit Adventure Cycling Association. This event is proudly sponsored by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.
