Lyle Divinsky is one of those unlikely success stories. Raised in Portland, ME, he then cut his teeth underground, playing in the New York City subways for 5 years before his self-released album, Uneven Floors, launched him into ears around the globe – reaching number 2 on the UK Soul Charts within weeks alongside radio play in the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Soon after… he was picked up by the Colorado funk powerhouse, The Motet, which took him to some of the biggest and most historic stages and festivals in the country, from Red Rocks and Madison Square Garden to the legendary Tipitina’s in New Orleans and The Fillmore in San Francisco. He truly has taken his music from Subways to Stadiums.
After 5 years, 2 studio albums, 2 live albums, and over 600 shows with The Motet, he’s getting back to his roots, and coming to a stage near YOU!
IMPORTANT COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATES
OLS is committed to providing a safe environment for all who work, listen, or perform live music in our venue. Because our venue is so small, effective on August 3, 2022, we will require all staff, volunteers, and patrons to wear masks indoors unless they are actively drinking, eating, or performing. Certain shows, at the request of those artists, will also require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to OLS.
We will require mask usage as our default policy unless stated otherwise; please refer to the language on each concert's event page to check the policy for the show you are attending.
If the show you are attending requires proof of vaccination:
Proof of vaccine must come directly from the health care provider that performed the vaccination and can be a photo or physical copy of the vaccination card or record. Full vaccination means that the date of the performance you are attending is:
- at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or
- at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO authorized single dose COVID vaccine.
We hope we can ease these restrictions once further progress has been made in reducing the transmission of the virus. Until then, we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation.
