The Melvin Gradiz Band is a dynamic three-piece from Southern Maine, blending blues, funk, R&B, and pop-rock into original music driven by groove, soul, and honest songwriting.
Formed in late 2024, the band came together after veteran drummer Gary Lowell discovered guitarist and songwriter Melvin Gradiz performing online. A single jam session confirmed their chemistry, with longtime friend and bassist Randy Runnels completing the trio. The band released its debut single, “Every Little Thing,” in spring 2025 and has since built a growing catalog of original music through live performances throughout Maine.
The Melvin Gradiz Band is now preparing for the release of its debut EP; Titled: “We should be fine.” on January 30, 2027, marking the next chapter in the band’s growing musical journey.
