Rick Price:

Australian Singer/Songwriter Rick Price has walked the journey many musicians’ dreams are made of. From his humble beginnings as a child performer with his family band in country Queensland dance halls, this self-taught artist has forged an internationally praised and respected career spanning three decades.

Multiple gold and platinum selling albums and numerous music industry awards including the prestigious APRA Song Of The Year award for his song “Heaven Knows” and both the APRA and Export Music Australia awards for his outstanding achievements abroad, are just some of his accolades.

In 2009 a move to the United States sparked not only new influences and a broader style for Price but also a return to his childhood musical roots. While there are still echoes of a pop artist, country rhythm and blues, meld beautifully with folk undertones to create the hybrid sounds of albums such as “The Water’s Edge”, “Tennessee Sky”, “Soulville”, and “Wayfaring Stranger”

Audiences all over the globe are moved by Rick’s amazing voice and soulful songs. A multi-instrumentalist, he is clearly the consummate performer.

Price is also a well-respected Producer, working with international artists such as Tina Arena, Girlfriend, Tommy Emmanuel, and Phillipino superstar Morissette. Currently Rick resides in Nashville, Tennessee where he continues to write and record his music.

Cidny Bullens:

Cidny Bullens is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, performer, musician, and activist whose career spans over 45 years. Starting out with collaborations alongside icons like Elton John, Bob Dylan, and Rod Stewart, Cidny also sang lead vocals on the Grease movie soundtrack and released the critically acclaimed album Desire Wire in 1979. After a hiatus in the 1980s to raise her children, she found success in the 1990s Nashville scene, co-writing the country hit “Hammer and Nails” with Radney Foster.

In 1996, after the loss of her 11-year-old daughter Jessie to cancer, Cidny created the widely praised album Somewhere Between Heaven and Earth (1999), featuring artists like Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams. Her subsequent albums continued to showcase collaborations with luminaries such as Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, and Elton John. In 2007, she formed the super-trio The Refugees, touring extensively and releasing several records, including their 2023 album California.

In 2011, Cidny began transitioning, publicly sharing this journey in 2012. By 2016, he debuted his one-person show Somewhere Between: Not An Ordinary Life, performed across the U.S. His 2020 album, Walkin’ Through This World, reflected his years in transition and received critical acclaim. The accompanying video for “The Gender Line” earned praise, including from Elton John.

Currently based in Nashville, Cidny’s life and career have been chronicled in the documentary short The Gender Line and his 2023 memoir TransElectric: My Life as a Cosmic Rock Star. With enduring artistry and resilience, Cidny remains an influential voice in music and beyond
